The Government of Indonesia’s Ministry of Health issued a revised instruction letter (MOH Surat Edaran 303/2020) on May 12 detailing arrival protocols for foreigners.
The key element of this instruction is that foreigners with KITAS/KITAP visas must be in possession of a Covid-19 PCR (not rapid test) negative test result issued with 7 days of arrival. If you do not have a negative Covid-19 PCR test when you arrive, you will be deported. NO tourist or visit visas will be issued.
